The Christmas Lights will be switched on in Belper on Sunday 30th November 2025 at 5pm. The event will begin from 3.30pm, when Santa's Grotto will open in the Memorial Gardens.

Donations are gratefully accepted on behalf of Hope for Belper, who will also provide children's craft activities while you queue.

Ahead of the lights being switched on, Belper Town Wind Band will provide music on King Street, where you will also find a range of stalls provided by local charitable groups.

This year, DJ Alex will turn on the lights at 5pm. This will be followed by headline act Elvis Legacy who will perform in the stage on the Memorial Gardens.

Please stand on King Street to watch 'The King' strut his stuff. Belper Jazz company will provide the musical encore on King Street from 6.15pm.
